Finally, after over a week, it was noticed by someone (Killen4Fun) that the website has been changed back to DiabloRealm. This was done as part of our preparations for the next coming of Diablo.... Diablo III!!! As before when DiabloRealm changed names to RealmGaming, the website can be still accessed by both diablorealm.net and realmgaming.net. Also, this change does not mean that we will drop our support for other games such as World of Warcraft, but it does mean that our primary focus will be back the Diablo series (Not that it wasn't before). In the coming weeks, I will be working on updating the site's forum layout and content to address Diablo III better. Additionally, I will be updating our forum software to the newest version, although this may take some time as I will have to rewrite many of the custom mods I made as well as the theme.

As for RealmGaming, I still have some plans for this URL in the future, so all will not be forgotten. I will post updates about this at a later date.

I will be periodically posting news updates on the status of these changes. As with all major changes, I would like to hear your input on what you thing about what we are doing, and if we can do anything else to make DiabloRealm even better. So please leave your comments in this thread.

Blizzard has announced the fourth of the five classes for Diablo 3 today at blizz con in Anaheim. The monk appears to be an exact opposite of the barbarian, quick yet fragile, however this character seems highly dynamic.

The first phase of site upgrades has been completed. Phase 1 consisted of updating the internals of the site and consisted of most of the downtime that the site will experience during these updates. Phase 2 will consist of a reorganization of the site's forums. This will include the addition of some new forums, the removal of others, and also the cleaning up of topics within the forums. Phase 3 will consist of cosmetic changes to the site. A whole new theme for the site is being discussed right now to give the site a brand new feel. Finally, Phase 4 will involve the addition of many new features of the site that will aid us for when Diablo III is released. One of the planned features is a more advanced trading system for the site that will allow you to post and trade items and services seamlessly.

After Diablo III is finally released, we have plans to start an extremely in depth database of all things in that game. More on this will come when we get closer to the release date.

I would also like to note that from now on, the staff will be cracking down of flaming and rude behavior. This goes for everyone. Flaming has gotten out of control on this site and needs to be dealt with. Violators will be warned whether the flame was serious or sarcastic. You have been warned.

It is true... Diablo 3 has finally been announced by Blizzard! Check it out at Blizzard's official website for Diablo III. While you are there, be sure to watch the gameplay video and cinematic trailers. Currently there is no specified expected release date, and only two character classes (Barbarian and Witch Doctor) have been announced among a few other things. Be sure to keep checking back with us to get up to date news about the upcoming Diablo III!

I would also like to mention that Realmgaming will be going through some changes and updates to go along with the announcement of D3, so the site may be down for small periods of time during these updates. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause you.

Most of you have probably noticed the random divide by zero errors that were occurring Realmgaming for the past day or so. These errors made it impossible to read threads and sometimes even restricted user logins. The problems were due to my web host changing servers on me and not notifying me about it. Anyways, I have fixed the site so it should work as normal. If you find anything that is still not working properly, please let me know about it by posting in this thread.

I know it has been awhile since we have had a news post here, so here is one for you.

First I would like to thank HOFX, killen4fun, and Dingle for their donations that they made to the site.

Next, I would like to inform you that I plan to update the site early next week. During the updates, the site will be down shortly. I do not have a date for this set yet, but I can tell you that it will probably be done around 2 or 3 AM PST in order to keep those that would be affected at a minimum.

Lastly, I would like to inform you that another early pre-release of "Project Blood" (The RealmGaming MMORPG) will be available next week. Along with the playable demo (although it may be still too early to call it a demo), I will also be releasing the official name of the game as well as the website for the game. I would also like to note that although the game will have a separate website, the forums for the game will still be here. (Edit: Postponed... Sorry )
