Okay, then why do people use stormshield instead of spirit in PvP, they sacrifice skills and fcr. Also, if you cannot be frozen then why use an a2 def merc. plus, when you fight duriel he still freezes your ass.

Storm shield doesnt add fhr either.

however using doom is not only bm it's retarded. Let's think about Hoto and Doom

Hoto:
Pros: +3 to all skills, increased mana, 40 fcr, +10 to dex, +40 res

Doom:
Pros: Holy Freeze

First off, i never said i was gonna use it, i just asked if i should. i know hoto is the best caster weapon regaardless of what you are, unless your a sorc. Also, i would use doom over spirit wep because it adds the same skills but i would rather have holy freeze against melee than 35%fcr, but im gonna use hoto for pvp regardless of what i duel, but i would use doom over spirit wep.

why would u want to freeze em if your a caster the cast rate would be SLOW and so by the time u can actually cast your probably dead by then

You guys havent answered my question about storm shield instead of spirit. If your a caster you would want fcr, right Artemis?

but you would also want dr so you don't die in one ww, plus all the builds that use SS hit the max fcr bp... so really you need to do some freakin homework and use the search button.

Why don't use Doom? Because its BM! And I don't like to be BM! Also, with Doom, I can't hit 163 FCR BP! So I don't like Doom!

Why SS over Spirit at times? SS provides DR! Which is essential in PK vs Melee or Druids! If you can get DR from elsewhere, use Spirit! If you got no DR, and can hit 99FCR BP w/o Shield, use SS! 163/99/No DR build sucks! Interchangable equipment FTW!
