This is fucking awesome! My internet sucks so I had to stop watching half way thru but what I saw...fucking epic. No polygon limit? Auto conversion thru their 3rd party program?
The only limitation left standing in the way of a perfectly realistic game is the amount of memory available to the artist for the original creation of that world...of course ignoring the 3d modeling applications hard coded limits. However with this type of system, and RAM to spare, I don't think there would be a need to have a limit coded into a 3d application. I can't even imagine running around in a 3d world and seeing organic models with no straight lines. This crew wins my vote for the next greatest achievement in computerized visual arts. I wish them the best of luck getting it off the ground even though I doubt they'll need it.
