just a quick note. you should use exile instead. that way you get a defiance aura since all of yours are offensive.

but if the auras do stack (which i still dont believe) then you lose 15 lvls from ur holy shock. and the whole point of this build...

And why would you care about a defensive aura anyway?

heres how i see it:

if ur char is naked besides 1 dream (lv15 shock), and has max lit res and salvation, then he does 1-2721 dmg.

if all u do is add a dream so u only have dream helm and shld on, and ur dmg increases to 1-7005 they have to stack.

the reason i have holy shield maxed is b/c the highest block % u can get on a dream pally shield is 60%, so if u dont max holy shield then ull have to dump alotta pts in dex for max block.

block problem solved...wear an um'd gaurdian angel...it adds 20% increase chance of blocking, +1 skill, and +15% max all resists...and u can up it for more defense (providing u have the strength)

if i wore ga then my res would be really low, thats y i chose coh (65 res), i do agree that would solve blockin but u would lose 50 res all.

u could use resist all charms or 11% resist scs to solve that problem. and instead of verdungos u can wear disciple set belt for +15 resist all (its other mods arent that bad +10 to dex and str) and rare run/walk boots with resists...i know every realm has em. it might be harder on ladder to find tho

true, or just use salvation if u REALLY need res, ull still have the 7k lit dmg (except on lit immunes)

i am 99.999999% sure that it doesn't act liek lvl 30 holy shock but actually 2x15 holy shock meaning u get the +damage from lvl 15 holy shock twice not lvl 30 holy shock damage

im 99% sure it acts like a lv 30 aura b/c 1 lv 15 arua does like 1-2k dmg with max syns so the dmg would be about 1-4k for 2 lv15 auras.

but

the dmg with 2 dreams is 1-7k not 1-4k

the only items this build is dependent on is obviously the 2 dreams, the pally should still be good with just 2 dreams and fair equip

your promise isn't good enough. I need at least one other person who has tried it to corroborate, and I am not rich enough to do so myself.

you can just test a build in single player. using hero editor and a valuable items archive, you can create any trpe of build in about one hour. try it out. because if it sucks, you didnt just waste a week making a bad charcater build. you dont have to be rich to test it out.

i might as well throw in my two cents on the subject.

i havent tested it out yet, but im going to once i finish this post.


just some thoughts, what about using auras on your merc.
there are some awesome ladder poleaxe/bow runewords out now.
consider an act one merc, the bows have some pretty unstopable
auras.

IF auras do stack, or only stack from equipted items, will someone please spell this out for me in black and white.

--if auras stack, what about using dragon armor & shield on an act 3 merc. or dream helm/shield.

the cheapest equipted aura youll aver get, EDGE! tir, tal, amn. lvl 15 holy thorns aura and a smooth looking vendors price reduced 15%!

if you choose to put conviction on your right click, you got faith bow with lvl 12-15 fanatiscim and +1-2 skills.

the rich people should use an act 2 merc with infinity. lvl 12 conviction aura (stack if possible, or use fanatiscim for more auras.)
and its got -45%-55% to enemy lightning resists. would a high one be strong enough to replace the doom/botd & zak/exile?

the even richer might go for a last wish as thier weapon, AND the merc weapon if they stack.

then theres phoienix weapon/ shield you get lvl 13 redemption aura, so theres yor answer to life/mana regen.

(damn, didnt think the list would be this long!)

pride poleaxe, lvl 18 concentration

and there are some bows i missed and im not going back for them.

ill tell you about my results of testing this in a little bit.

if u look at jzpubz's pic, he ahs 2 dreams on, no weapon his damage is only 4900 therefore i stand by my oppinion it is 2xlvl15 holyshock
