-Do not flame (insult) other users in threads. This leads to flame wars and makes the discussion in the thread veer off-topic.

-Do not spam. Spam can be categorized as short meaningless messages which do not contribute to the topic.

-Try to not double-post. This occurs when you hit the submit button twice and your post is literally posted twice in the same thread. If this occurs, notify a member of the staff to delete one of them. You can also double-post threads.

-Try to use grammar and spelling to the level at which there are no complications when another member tries to read them. Punctuation (periods, commas, question marks) are the most common problem and the lack of them can make your posts confusing.

-Respect your fellow members and their opinions. Just because someone doesn't agree with you doesn't mean they deserve a hail-storm of insults.

-Respect the staff and feel free to contact them if you have any problems. Reporting a post in a thread is a great way to contact the administration team, but if you feel that the problem is more severe, or if you would want it to be kept more private feel free to Private Message anyone on the staff.

-You are free to put whatever you want in your forum signature as long as it isn't offensive towards any one party or overly explicit material. You may not have more than one 500x150 image and 5 lines of text. Contact an administrator if you feel that your signature may be too long.

-The staff here use a warning system. When you break rules or act in an inappropriate manner, the staff can penalize you by increasing your warn level. Your warn level can be seen in your profile and under your avatar in posts. Only the staff and yourself can view your warn level.

Here are the levels at which you will receive penalty for the corresponding violation:

Minor Infractions/Spam: 10%
Minor Flaming: 20%
Major Infractions/Spam: 40%
Major Flaming: 40%
Minor Infractions/Flames Directed at Staff: 40%
Major Infractions/Flames Directed at Staff: 70%

In addition to these percentage increments, at certain levels, you will incur a further punishment, they are as follows:

50% Warn: 1 Day Posting Suspension
70% Warn: 7 Day Posting Suspension
100% Warn: Banned

Whilst suspended, if you are found to have created a new account, your original will be banned permanently. There is no reason what so ever to break this rule, if you are suspended, it is for a reason.
