How do you get beta keys? Do they e-mail it to Blizzcon attendees?

if you added any blizzard game there should be a beta opt-in thing

and you dl the thingy, send blizz your pc specs, and cross your fingers

I might have found a link that allows you to play single player campaign and some custom Player VS AI maps. Doesn't allow Multiplayer but so far i've found some solid positive feedback on the link and that its no a hack. Will Test it and get back to you guys about it.

And it works... its a bit laggy and you dont choose your race but heres the link, just follow the instructions works fine for me.

Download the First
Download the second
Install the game
Launch the game - Let the patches download
Copy files of the crack and place them inside Starcraft 2 Beta
Install LazyLaunch2
Launch LazyLaunch2 and choose whatever map

The AI is set to really easy and you would have to be pretty lame to lose against them. I'm basically using it to play the variant units, test their weaknesses and strenghts and the mutiple builds.

I had to close MSN and i couldnt play Itunes overlapping without its being really slow. Your also going to have adjust the game speed every game to Fast or Faster and/or your video and sound settings.


Note to self, I'm probably going to have to buy a new video card and up my rams to 4g.

I love the Starcraft campaign, but I sucked at the Battlenet. I always felt like it was too heavily dependent on who could multi-task the best rather than battlefield strategy (although both elements are present, I just couldn't manage to fight a battle and not forget to keep building units while the battle was going on).

Campaigns dont work on this Starcraft crack but some multiplayer maps work.

I would agree with you until i started playing a simpler version of the RTS genre', it all started coming together around WC3, i also learnt how to M&M which really just saves tons of units
