Relax, take a walk, watch TV or do your homework. Realm Downs can last anywhere between 5 minutes and 2 days. If you've got something other than Diablo to do, now is the time to do it.

Peace and blessings,
Sean

sometimes it helps me to restart my comp, but other times it doesn't help at all, but yeah, 8 hour realm downs are common, at least for me

1. You can stop complaining most have had worse than 8 hours, I've had one for 3 days.

2. Restart your computer. If that doesn't work then :?

3. Virus Scan your computer, and delete the viruses if there are some.

4. Spyware Scan your computer, and clean it of spyware.

5. Re-install Diablo.

6. If all of the above fail. Kill youself cuz your boned.

hello everyone... i usually don't post but this is funny what people have to say about this... anyways the easiest thing for this to be fixed is to log on to your account with a different computer... not every1 has this luxery but it works... once you log on with another computer -- log out and retry on your original computer... this has always worked for me... i have tried to restart.. re-install.. which never works!!! i have also tried different product keys which still gives the realm down... i think it is a possible ip address issue... if you can reasign a new ip then you may not need to do the above... i never got realm down til i switched to cable... lmao dial-up rulez over cable... jk... anyways reset your ip address somehow or log on with different computer then your back... dont wait for days and hours omg!!!

"Realm Down" is B.net's crappy way of telling you that your IP address has been temporarily banned.

Release your old one, and acquire a new IP address. Boom, problem solved. I havent had a realm down that lasted longer than it took me to do that since......hell, I cant even remember.

Of course, if you dont know how to do this, you are still screwed.

Hey morons we have stated several times b4 that the release only works for ip bans not RealmDown THEY ARE DIFFERENT You can only change ur ip if you have a phone line connection... If you release and renew on any other connection check and you will recieve the same IP again
once again skis critisizes someome

who did he criticize? all i see is him explaining something. about there being a difference btwn ip ban and realm down and that realm down cant be fixxed by just getting a new ip.
Realm Downs can last anywhere between 5 minutes and 2 days
ive had longer...i once had one for 6 days sad.gif

as for nofaith...get used to it. it happens, find something else to do. i know its strange not playing D2 but there is a world outside of school and D2. go explore it

so for the realm down thread counter...thats up to about 348934 threads now right?
